Hi John, hope all is well?

I have a query, We have Owners who take their own bookings through different marketing channels, they then put their bookings onto our calendar(s). We ask them to put these down as 'Owner Occupied' , we don't take any payments or commissions on these bookings.

At this point STATUS "Owner Occupied" and STATUS "Maintenance" could it be possible to have a pop out box " saying would you like to NIL all Payments & Deposits.. If we miss one, Time differences / appointments etc it is too easy for a scheduled email to go out referring to payments etc.

This causes follow up emails, hassle, & generally looks unprofessional.

Many thanks Steve

Hi Steve - do you have the owner's information (especially email address) entered into the property settings? If so, then I think it's smart enough to pop-up asking you if you want to zero-out the booking...

Ah yes if I put the owners name in it does. We have asked the owner to put the guest name & email address in so we can send them welcome / arrival email templates etc. also its Indian law we have to register guests before they arrive so we send an email out for this as well

If they just enter the email address, if it matches what you have entered for the owner's email, then it should pop-up the prompt about zero-ing it out. Let me know if that doesn't work properly, Ok?

Cheers,

John

John, I have the same issue. I need the guests names and e-mail address to contact them with arrival instructions. But on several occasions payments requests and scheduled e-mails have gone out and has caused issues and as steve says is very unprofessional. So a zero out button would be appreciated.

Ok - we are going to update the software to provide a "Zero Out Amounts" button in the Booking Amounts box.

There is already a (relatively new) button: "Remove All Scheduled Emails" in the Email Correspondence box.

Look for these tomorrow morning, and let us know if this is helpful.

Thanks,

John
