Release 3.2 was rolled out on October 18th, 2011. Below are the features & enhancements included in this fifteenth Bookerville release:

1) Guest-Driven Quote Confirmation!

In release 3.1, we updated Bookerville so that you can save the quotes you create as Booking Requests, and so that Payment Schedules can be generated for them, and also so that you can edit Booking Requests at any time and generate emails from them. We also created a Quote email template for you for this purpose.

Now in release 3.2, we've extended the Quote process even further. You can now include a special link in your Quote email that will take your guest to a "Confirm Quote" page. There, they will be presented with your Quote email and your contract, which they must click to agree to. Once they do that, the Quote is converted into a real booking. If a pre-payment is required to secure it, they will be presented with payment buttons, and from there it behaves like a regular booking.

2) Changing Booking Dates! At long last, you can now move the check-in and/or check-out dates for a booking without having to delete the booking and re-enter it from the Master Calendar. Simply click the "Edit" buttons next to the Arrival and Departure dates to change them.

3) Payment Schedules We've overhauled the logic that generates the Payment Schedules for each booking, and made it quite a bit smarter. Any payments that would have a date in the past are now consolidated into a single payment. We've also added a "Generate New Payment Schedule" button on the Booking Details page so you can create a new one at any time.

4) Recalculate Amounts There is now a "Recalculate Booking Amounts" button at the bottom of the Booking Amounts section of the Booking Details page. As you might have guessed, this is a handy new feature meant to aid you if and when you change the booking dates.


5) Member Permissions Create new Bookerville members and grant selective permissions to them on a property-by-property basis. This is fantastic for managing owners, cleaning crews, key-swap offices, travel agents, or other partners. 6) Scrolling Master Calendar We've enhanced the Master Calendar so that it scrolls when there is a large number of properties to display. This keeps the month/day header in place at the top so that you can more easily line it up when selecting dates. We've also highlighted the line your cursor is over, so you can perfectly see which property you're on. We've also added the ability to search for bookings by confirmation code and by guest name.
